Ministry Mission Statement
This ministry exists to meet the needs of single individuals in our church and surrounding areas. Its is not limited to SOF Pomona members. Areas of relevance for Singles ministry include the following and more:
· Fellowship Events - Christian Plays, Christian Comedy, and Word Cafes
· Career success - Mentoring, College and Job Fairs
· Financial prosperity - Financial Counseling, Budgeting, and Tithing
· Physical health - Fun events at the Beach, Amusement parks, and more.
· Preparation for marriage - Counseling, True Love Waits classes (Sexual & Spiritual Purity)
· Ministerial fulfillment and personal growth.
The Singles Ministry is designed to reach the unsaved through meeting of single people, presentation of teaching and educational events, networking with other Christian Single groups locally, nationally and also networking with the appropriate civic groups.
We also have a Big Brother/Big Sister Mentoring program and activity in conjunction with the Youth and Young Adult department. This will be a Christian environment of love and acceptance where you can be comfortable and feel a part of and find your PURPOSE in Ministry.
