Shield of Faith Christian Center of Pomona is a Spirit-filled church that began in 1981 with just 3 adults and 2 children. Today the church has grown to a faithful membership of more than 1,000 bible believing Christians. Our church is located in Pomona, California and has become the Mother Church to some 1,000 churches across the United States and around the world. Shield of Faith’s daughter churches and affiliates are present on virtually every continent of the world with a strong presence in Africa, Europe and the South Pacific.

Shield of Faith Christian Center of Pomona is often described as “Church you can FEEL!” because of the passion with which we worship and serve the Lord. We often well-rounded ministry designed to meet the many needs of men, women, families, youth and children.  Our church offers an onsite Christian School, an accredited Bible College, dynamic youth programs, children’s church and also participation in the life of our community through building affordable housing and distributing food to those who are in need.

Our weekly services include Sunday morning and evening Worship Services, Sunday Morning Bible College. weekly bible study, a wide variety of prayer meetings and weekly youth services.

Shield of Faith Christian Center is a regional church meeting the needs of individuals throughout the Inland Empire region of Southern California and beyond. Worshippers drive many miles each week to be a part of our encouraging and uplifting services and to hear the Word of God declared with integrity and power by our Senior Pastor, Bishop Henry B. Alexander.
